Hosted by the Foreign Talent Research Center, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Leading Group Office for Talent-Related Work of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee and Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, the 2025 Job Fair for Foreigners in Beijing (Xiamen focus) was held successfully on June 22, 2025. The event attracted nearly 250 foreign talents from over 50 countries and regions, including France, Singapore, Germany, the UK, Italy, Pakistan, Japan, South Korea, Egypt, and Russia, for on-site negotiations and matchmaking.
Mr. Tang Fuqiang, the Director General of Foreign Talent Research Center, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and Mr. Zhou Yu, the Director General of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security delivered speeches in the Opening Ceremony. A key official from the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security provided a detailed interpretation of the policies for foreign talents. Moreover, the launch ceremony of the "Charming Xiamen" channel of the Foreign Talent Service Platform was held in the Opening Ceremony.
This event marks Xiamen's first overseas talent exchange and Job fair held outside Fujian Province. In the preliminary phase, a total of 62 job positions for foreign professionals were collected from 41 enterprises and institutions, with an overall demand of approximately 160 individuals. 30 renowned companies such as Xiamen C&D Inc., Xiamen ITG Group Corp., Ltd., Xiamen International Airport Co., Ltd, BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center, Luckin Coffee INC., Xiamen University and Huaqiao University attended the event.
The event has attracted widespread attention from foreign job seekers in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Renmin University, Beijing Institute of Technology, University of International Business and Economics and Beijing International Studies University organized groups of international students to register collectively. The job seekers are generally satisfied with the event. Sabrina from Panama made a special trip from Shanghai to attend the event. She said, "Xiamen's flexible employment policies, vast career development opportunities, and excellent living environment are very appealing to me. I hope to have the chance to work and live in Xiamen."
After the event, all the positions will continue to be published on www.chinajob.com, providing convenient online job-seeking services for more foreigners. Furthermore, the "Charming Xiamen" channel, to be launched on the comprehensive service platform for foreign talent within the year, will provide one-stop, convenient information and guidance services.
