Charming Nanjing, a new channel on the China International Service Platform, went live on May 18, 2025. On the same day, Tang Fuqiang, director of the Foreign Talent Research Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, attended the kickoff event of the channel during the opening ceremony of the 2025 Nanjing Talent Day held in Nanjing.

As an important part of the China International Service Platform, Charming Nanjing is developed by the Foreign Talent Research Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in collaboration with the Nanjing Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. Featuring 10 first-level modules (About, Policies, etc.) and 22 second-level modules (Major Scientific and Technological Innovation Platform, Foreigner’s Nanjing Stories, etc.), the channel serves as an information aggregator and a one-stop digital service platform for foreigners in Nanjing.

As a diversified service platform, Charming Nanjing also boasts some modules designed to meet foreigners’ career development needs, such as Jobs, Major Scientific and Technological Innovation Platform, and International Innovation Cooperation Platform, where foreigners can find information about jobs posted by local high-tech enterprises and policies about supporting international talents in starting their business in the city. Under the Discover module, there are six common scenarios catering to their daily life needs. Second-level modules such as Nanjing High-tech Park and Major Scientific and Technological Innovation Platform mirror the city’s innovation DNA. Under the module of Foreigner’s Nanjing Stories, there are stories told by international residents about how they are bound up with the city. The channel has also set up a Questions Or Comments window and an Event Preview module, which can not only enhance the user engagement and information consistency but also demonstrate the city’s friendliness.
